Impact! Design for Social Change

This six-week summer intensive – now in it’s sixth year – will explore the many roles creatives can play when executing socially minded work with a focus on social entrepreneurship and collaborative community projects. Along with the support of an experienced faculty, participants will connect with a wide range of tools to develop meaningful social impact.

Implementing Impact! Strategies for Creative Intervention
July 7 – August 15, 2015
School of Visual Arts, New York City

This one-week workshop will focus on three critical areas around the launch of an idea: ecosystem mapping, creative sessions and protoyping. Students will develop the strategic foundation for a socially minded, design-driven project and leave with an understanding of the steps needed to make it a reality.
