Fiscal Sponsorship Eligibility & Guidelines
The Design Ignites Change Fiscal Sponsorship Program is a great option for:
- Design firms engaged in projects for the public good that wish to expand their opportunities for funding;
- Non-profits in the process of registering for 501(c)(3)) status that need to solicit funds during this process;
- Individuals or a team of designers that have an innovative social change project concept that they want to get off the ground;
- Any outstanding design and social change project that is interested in mentoring and guidance from a well-established practitioner in the field.
Guidelines for participation:
- The project’s goals must align with Worldstudio Foundation’s mission; to help artists, architects and designers as they seek to improve the quality of life in communities around the world.
- Projects must address a pressing social need within a community.
- Projects must be capable of feasible implementation within that community, resulting in positive impact.
- The project must have a clear plan for implementation and participants should demonstrate their ability to execute the project.
- Unless the project is seeking fundraising consultation for an additional fee, there must be a thorough funding plan in place.
