Design for America (DFA) is a nation-wide network of student led studios using design to create local and social impact. With the vision of establishing 50 studios in the next 5 years to ignite a generation of creative activist throughout the US, DFA teaches human centered design to young adults and collaborating community partners through extra-curricular & university based studios throughout the school year. Each summer DFA trains the new creative leaders of this generation bringing them together at their headquarters at Northwestern University over a long weekend to prepare them for the start of their own DFA studio on their campus.
