Vision for Graphic Design and Web Students:
Currently, we are in an age of multidisciplinary education while the design profession is changing its role into new regions, and conventional illustration practices are being reinvented in current animation, zines, and product design, we find a new kind of student developing. Our current design student needs the skills of design, illustration, photography and web programming to be a designer for today.
At AiP we first teach students how to see the world as we help them find their own voice. As educators we pay attention to the world around us and determine what/where we can improve on the general understanding of particular advantages and resolutions. At AiP our graphic design and web classes are interdisciplinary in nature and will further develop a successful designer by widening a design student’s creative worldview. We teach them how to solve problems, organize information, tell a story, and create clear and beautiful presentations. Along with these skills our students understand the purpose of their roles and why designers are needed to make change in our world.
